Our Story
2023

Cuemái began as an MA project, driven by a desire to elevate Mexican culture. As México moved into global focus, the founder saw heritage and innovation as opportunity, treating them as an active system.
2024

The project first appeared in Milan, then travelled through Munich, London, and Dubai, where it drew attention from brands and innovators by presenting Mexican culture through a contemporary lens with global relevance today.
2025

Over time, Cuemái evolved from an academic exploration into a startup. Its return to Milan marked a turning point, enabling operations, alliances, and partnerships, and consolidating its transition into an textile platform.

Resources
Eco-Friendly and Sustainable
Cuemái empowers nature by transforming the Tequila industry’s waste into valuable resources. Every year, millions of tons of tequila byproducts are discarded, contributing to soil degradation and environmental waste. By repurposing these materials into sustainable textiles, we not only reduces landfill pressure, also reduces the reliance on synthetic fibers.
