Tequilana Tex wins the Textile Category at Diseña México 2025 and will present the project this March at Museo Franz Mayer.
Cuemái has been named Winner in the Textile Category at Diseña México 2025.
This recognition is especially meaningful as it comes from Mexico, the origin of our materials, our stories, and the communities that inspire our work. What began as an exploration of tequila byproducts has grown into a textile proposal rooted in culture, responsibility, and material innovation.
The project will be on view this March at Museo Franz Mayer, where visitors will be able to experience the work in person and explore the journey behind it.
