Cuemái at Zona Maco Diseño Emergente: Our First Exhibition in Mexico
Cuemái makes its Mexico debut at Zona Maco Diseño Emergente, presenting its work for the first time within one of Latin America’s most influential creative platforms.
Zona Maco is one of the most important contemporary art and design fairs in Mexico and Latin America, bringing together galleries, designers, institutions, and collectors from around the world. Diseño Emergente section is dedicated to new designers and studios that are redefining design through experimentation, and new production narratives.
For Cuemái, this exhibition represents a significant milestone. Presenting our work in Mexico marking the first public appearance of the studio was an important step in the evolution of design. While Cuemái is dedicated to transforming Mexican spirits through material culture and design narratives, Cuemái studio operates as a parallel practice focused on the exploration of natural materials, and expanded design experimentation.
This first exhibition in Mexico is not only an introduction to a new audience, but also a step forward in Cuemái’s international trajectory. It signals a moment of expansion, exchange, and consolidation as we continue to develop our work across different contexts and scales.
